    Sean grew up watching his Dad Jim play for the Calgary Stampeders. Jim played from 1961 to 1973 winning the Grey Cup in 1971 as a linebacker and punter. Sean grew up with football in his blood and ended up playing high school football in Vernon B.C. After high school Sean played 4 yrs at the University of Calgary and after being drafted playing with the Calgary Stampeders in 1990. Sean was the leading receiver in catches in the C.I.A.U. in 1989 and the MVP in the Vanier Cup national championship game with 2 touchdowns vs the St Mary's Huskys.
